Dr. John T. Uetsuki, DMD

After attending Georgia Tech, Dr. John T. Uetsuki earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Augusta University Dental College of Georgia in 1997. He has been practicing in the Atlanta area for over 25 years.

Dr. Uetsuki focuses on providing effective care with empathy and compassion to improve his patients’ quality of life. He lives in the area he serves and is committed to giving back to his community. He is on faculty at Augusta University Dental College of Georgia, where he enjoys mentoring the senior class. He has volunteered at charity dental events, including Georgia Mission of Mercy, participated in Dental Health Care Month at local schools, and is involved in special events, such as the GLOBE Academy’s Science Night. He is also fluent in Japanese.

Dr. Richard W. Upton, DMD

Dr. Richard W. Upton earned dual undergraduate degrees in biology and violin performance from Emory University. He achieved his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Augusta University Dental College of Georgia before completing a GPR Residency at King’s County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.

Dr. Upton provides comprehensive general dentistry that caters to the unique needs and concerns of each patient. He dedicates himself to delivering compassionate care that addresses each patient’s needs and is continually focused on making “visits to the dentist” as comfortable, effective, and relaxed as possible. He loves interacting with his patients and getting to know them better so he can treat the whole person – not just their teeth – and enjoys serving the special needs community, which is often underserved in Georgia.

Dr. Isabella M. Herrero, DMD

Dr. Isabella M. Herrero earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where she graduated cum laude. She is a proud "Triple Gator," having completed her undergraduate studies, post-baccalaureate program, and dental degree at the University of Florida. Dr. Herrero holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Behavior and is passionate about staying current with advancements in dentistry.

Dr. Herrero believes in a compassionate, patient-centered approach to dentistry rooted in education, trust, and collaboration. She takes the time to truly listen to her patients, ensuring they feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their care decisions. Her goal is to empower every patient to achieve optimal oral health while creating a positive and personalized dental experience. By combining clinical excellence with a gentle, understanding approach, she strives to build lasting relationships and help patients feel at ease every step of the way.

Originally from Ormond Beach, Florida, Dr. Herrero grew up enjoying the outdoors, especially time spent at the beach and in the ocean. She maintains and active lifestyle and has a passion for fitness and wellness. A former competitive tennis player, she still enjoys staying active through running, hiking, yoga, and pickleball. Whether she's outdoors or staying active, Dr. Herrero values balance and brings that same energy and positivity into her work with patients.

Kimberly oversees the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring a smooth patient flow from start to finish. She believes less dentistry is the best dentistry and that taking a proactive approach to oral healthcare serves patients well for a lifetime. She aims to make a positive impact in the lives of everyone who comes through our door by making their experience with us as enjoyable as possible.

Originally from Ashburn, Virginia, Kimberly has lived in the Atlanta area since 2018. She and her husband, Chris, are proud parents to their two daughters, Ava and Mia. Outside of work, Kimberly enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, staying connected with her community, and you can almost always find her at book club with the neighbors.
